The mobile world is increasing exponentially. The use of mobile devices has spread to all demographics around the world and for the first time, almost anyone can have access to the net and world through a computer they can keep in their pocket. There is an increasing demand for Mobile Application Developers around the world. Mobile software is quite a young field in the IT industry and quite a different one. For desktop PC’s, to target most users, applications typically need to be written for 2 platforms, Windows (Microsoft) and OSX (Mac). In the mobile world, to target everyone, there are a lot more platforms. In South Africa, we found it hard to find other people writing mobile software, for this reason, we decided to start a community to try and find them.

MADmob is a place to find technical articles and help for all mobile software platforms. This includes iOS, Android, Blackberry OS, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Bada, JavaME and the many more platforms to come.
